The reading promotion workshop was successfully held at the CECyTEH Omitlán de Juárez campus, with the participation of 100 students from groups 2° “B” and 2° “G.”
During the activity, students took part in the talk titled “Read and You Shall Lead” (Lee y conducirás), given by Luz María Ruiz, a member of the Geopark’s Scientific-Technical Advisory Committee. She highlighted the importance of reading as a tool to strengthen knowledge, improve academic performance, and develop writing and spelling skills.
Additionally, a selection of books available at the Geopark Cultural Center Library – “Casa de la Maestra Con” was presented. Students were invited to borrow copies for reading and subsequent return.
