TECHNICAL SCIENTIFIC ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The Scientific Technical Advisory Committee (CoTeCi) is integrated by a group of technicians, professionals and researchers with knowledge and experience in the fields of education, sustainability, culture, tourism, gender equity and inclusion, earth sciences, disaster risk reduction, among others. The CoTeCi team shares its knowledge through lectures, workshops, courses and different dynamics that involve the communities with the activities of the Comarca Minera UNESCO Global Geopark.

She has worked as an educator, communications specialist, and public official, serving as Municipal Director of Education, Culture, and Archives from 2016 to 2020.
She has published twelve books, primarily chronicles on the history of Huasca and children’s literature. She is currently developing the series “La muñeca de tela” (Lúa, the Cloth Doll), focused on geoparks and basic science outreach for children.
She serves as an advisor to the Technical Scientific Advisory Committee for the UNESCO Global Geopark Comarca Minera in the areas of Education and Childhood.
She has collaborated with the Geopark since its project phase in 2016, contributing to education initiatives, children’s activities, and the Basura Cero (Zero Waste) programme.

He collaborates with the Geopark in the opening of routes and trails and in research related to Alexander von Humboldt’s visit to the Comarca Minera.

She served as Municipal Internal Comptroller in Huasca (2016–2020), President of Region II of Municipal Comptrollers (2020), and Board Member of the State Anti-Corruption System (2019–2020). She promotes disability inclusion through the initiative “Un Mundo para Todos” and is a member of AHPAAC.
Her main areas of collaboration with the UNESCO Global Geopark Comarca Minera include:
•Gender equity and disability inclusion.
•Management of agreements and inclusive activities across the municipalities of the Geopark.
