The Latin American and Caribbean Geoparks Network (Red GeoLAC) is a community dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and dissemination of the geological, paleontological, and cultural heritage of the region.
Through collaboration and knowledge exchange, the network seeks to strengthen public awareness regarding the importance of geoparks in conserving the planet’s history and fostering the sustainable development of local communities. The network is composed of several UNESCO Global Geoparks (UGGp), each possessing unique geological and cultural characteristics.
