CONSERVATION CONSERVATION OF OBSIDIAN AT CERRO DE LAS NAVAJAS, HIDALGO
The Comarca Minera Hidalgo Global Geopark promotes practices and projects that foster sustainable development in the Geopark area, including environmental conservation and local economic development initiatives.
An example of this work are the awareness activities of the ejidatarios in the symbolic Cerro de las Navajas, in the municipality of Epazoyucan where the community organized to improve and reduce extraction for the benefit of all its residents.
