In this edition of the Permanent Virtual Geopark Guardians Seminar, we will explore the rich bird diversity inhabiting the UNESCO Global Geopark Comarca Minera and the challenges they face for their conservation. The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Iriana Zuria Jordan, full-time professor and researcher in the Academic Area of Biology at UAEH, who will share her experience in the study of wild birds, their role in ecosystems, and the actions needed to protect this valuable biological heritage. An opportunity to learn about the territory’s biodiversity and to promote its care through science and environmental education.
