The Geopark has implemented actions that guarantee that all people have the same opportunities to contribute to the development of territorial management, with the participation of women in scientific research, talks and workshops on gender violence, environmental education, tourism, empowerment of girls and promoting the creation, production and sale of local products to promote economic development.
We strive to create an inclusive environment where all people, regardless of gender, have equal opportunities to grow, learn and lead. The work of women in our Geopark is fundamental to both the success and sustainability of our operations. In our organizational chart, from management, design and assistance areas, to volunteering, women play key roles in all areas. It is important to highlight the significant number of women who participate as volunteers in our activities. Their commitment and dedication contribute, to a large extent, to the fulfillment of our mission and goals. The gender diversity in our team reflects our commitment to equality and social justice. By working together, men and women, we can achieve our common goals of conservation, education and sustainable development in the Geopark, creating a more equitable and prosperous future for all. In this sense, we work in collaboration with the Hidalgo Institute for Women of the Government of the State of Hidalgo.
